TAMOIOS HIGHWAY

Final design of the Tamoios Highway Expansion Works, SP-99 - Serra Segment. There are 17.5 km of highway for the transposition of the mountain range, consisting of five tunnels with a total length of about 12.6 km, combined with stretches on the surface, and a set of eight special works of art up to the interconnection with the device in the Contour of Caraguatatuba-São Sebastião. The road pattern of the mountain range to be implanted provides preferential upstream flow path with two rolling ranges and roadway and maximum ramps of 5%. Practically all the route is located inside the State Park of Serra do Mar, which requires a series of care and attention to environmental issues.
