Basic and Final Designs for Sewage Treatment Plant - Sewage Treatment Station of South, Palmas - TO

The Sewage Treatment Station designs will be developed for BRK Ambiental, in order to meet the technical requirements provided for in legislation and the deadlines agreed in the signed concession contract. The application of the biological treatment process with the Nereda System, invented by the Delft University of Technology, is planned. In this technology, the biomass responsible for treating sewage forms compact aerobic granules, with a characteristic of high sedimentation speed, which provides a significant reduction in the built-up area and better efficiency.

General data planned for South Sewage Treatment Station, which will be built in two stages:

• Average and maximum flow, respectively 300 l/s and 406 l/s;

Treatment system:

1st stage: implementation of one (01) compact preliminary treatment system, one (01) Influent Buffer, plus 02 (two) Nereda Biological Reactors and one (01) Sludge Buffer;

2nd stage: implementation of one more (01) Nereda Reactor and one (01) Sludge Buffer, both identical to the previous ones.
