Basic and Final Designs for the Sewage Treatment Station - Sewage Treatment Station Bangu

The works will be carried out for Zona Oeste Mais Saneamento, which is the company responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the entire sewage collection and treatment system in Planning Area 5 (AP5) in Rio de Janeiro. This area was divided into 10 systems, each with a single treatment center.

The Sewage Treatment Station of Bangu will be the treatment center of the Sarapuí System, which comprises 13 sub-basins, serving a population of around 350,000 inhabitants at the end of the plan. The works include the preparation of Basic and Final Designs for the Bangu Sewage Treatment Station, the Gross Sewage Elevation and the final outfall, using the biological process of sewage treatment with NEREDA® technology from the Dutch company Royal Haskoning DHV.
