Preparation of Regional Basic Sanitation Plans (PRSB) for the Ipojuca River and Capibaribe River Hydrographic Basins

The works will be developed for the Companhia Pernambucana de Saneamento - COMPESA, and will consist of strategic planning studies, whose objectives are to propose solutions that serve as a basic reference for the municipalities that are part of these basins, delineated from an integrated vision between the use of water resources, sanitation, environment and institutional and legal aspects. There are 49 municipalities involved, occupying a total area of ​​approximately 11,000 km², considering the two basins.

Main activities to be developed:

• Situation diagnosis and prognosis of sanitation services;

• Preparation of Regional Basic Sanitation Plans;

• Economic-financial feasibility study for water supply and sanitary sewage services;

• Training for the administration of the fixed PRSB and for the preparation of new Sanitation Plans.
