Study to characterize the water use profile and estimate the effluent load of industries in the water resources management unit of Paranapanema

The work will be executed for ANA - National Water Agency, aiming at characterizing the water use profile and estimating the potentially polluting effluent load of the industry, in order to identify the best practices for rationalizing the use of water and treatment and/or reuse of industrial effluents.

The scope of the works covers:

• Inventory of Information Sources and Preliminary Diagnosis;

• Refinement of withdrawals, consumption and the characterization of industrial effluents;

• Prospective Diagnosis of Rationalization Practices, Treatment and Reuse Systems of Water or Effluents and Benchmarking Study of the Use of Water and Effluents;

• Seminar with the Industrial Segment, Final Report and Executive Summary.
