Project design work and supervision of the construction of the PuntaCaña Dam

The works will be developed for the Empresa de Generación Hidroeléctrica Dominicana - EGEHID, in Punta Caña, Dominican Republic. The contract covers the preparation of basic designs, approval of final designs and supervision of the construction of the hardfill dam of the Sabaneta Dam on the Loro Creek, known as the Punta Caña dam. With a height of 58 m, and a storage capacity of 66,000,000 m³ of water, its objective is to guarantee the supply of water for irrigation in the region and, as a by-product, to increase the generation of the existing Hydroelectric Power Plant.
