Development of cost-benefit analysis (CBA) methodologies for infrastructure investment projects with a specific focus on the electricity and water resources sectors.
The works will be developed for the Secretariat of Infrastructure Development of the Ministry of Economy (SDI/ME), with a subsidy from the United Nations Development Program – UNDP. The main purpose is to incorporate cost-benefit analysis (CBA) in the processes of elaboration of sectorial plans, in order to identify and select the most attractive investments from a socioeconomic point of view and guide the prioritization of government resources and efforts to those enterprises with the greatest return to society. In this work, application methodologies will be developed for the electric energy and water resources sectors, including the preparation of Application Manuals and the training of public servants involved in the process.
