The Lontra Sewage Treatment Plant – ETE project, located in the municipality of Araguaína – TO, was developed in 3D, using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) platform, in advance of the traditional 2D model. The type of treatment of this ETE also stands out, as it employs the Nereda® System in the biological process, developed by the Dutch company Royal Haskoning DHV. The work involved the conception and basic and final design, including hydraulics, hydromechanics, architecture, structures and foundations, electricity, instrumentation, automation and control, geotechnics, processes and treatment unit operations. The plant will have a treatment capacity of 395 L/s and aims to serve a population of 195,000 inhabitants. “Image Source: Royal Hasnkoning DHV”.
