The basic and final designs for the expansion of the 006 Water Treatment Station – ETA in the municipality of Palmas, in the State of Tocantins, were motivated by the need to increase its capacity from 500L/s to 1,270L/s, with a view to serving 475,000 inhabitants. They involved a new intake, a new pumping station and a new raw water pipeline, in addition to the main scope of expansion of the ETA's treatment units. The services included the general design, hydraulic, hydromechanical, architecture, structures and foundations, electrical, automation, control and instrumentation, geotechnics and technical package projects with budget.
